How do we actually start the project?
Every project starts with a kickoff call to lay out a plan for your website.
Will I get to see the site as it’s being built?
Yes – you’ll get access to a private site where you can watch progress and give feedback as things come together.
How much time will this take on my end?
Not much. We’ll ask a few key questions up front, get any content you already have, and check in for quick feedback along the way. Most clients spend under 3 hours total.
Who’s actually doing the work?
Everything’s handled by one person, Pieter de Bruijn, there are no handoffs and no outsourced freelancers. You’ll work directly with me, start to finish.
What if I don’t know what I want yet?
That’s totally fine. We’ll figure it out together on the kickoff call and make a plan that fits your goals.

What’s included in a SiteLift project?
Design, development, mobile optimization, SEO setup, and launch support – all handled in one place. We also take care of hosting, backups, and updates after the site is launched.
Do you write the content or do I need to provide it?
If you have content, great. If not, we can help clean up what you have or write new copy based on your goals – we’ll talk it through during the kickoff call.
Can you help with logos or branding?
We don’t handle logos or full brand builds ourselves, but we’d be happy to refer you to a trusted partner who does.
Do you build online stores or booking systems?
We do – simple e-commerce, service booking, and payment setups are all possible. Just let us know what you need, and we’ll include it in your quote.
Are your sites custom-built or based on templates?
We design everything to fit your business – no cookie-cutter themes. The end result is always fast, modern, and built to grow your business.
Pricing & Payments
How much does a website cost?
Most projects land around anywhere from $2,000 – $5,000. We’ll give you a clear, flat quote based on your needs – no surprises or hourly overages.
What’s included in the price?
Everything you need for your website. After discussing your needs in a discovery call you will get a proposal that outlines the complete scope of work.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes – we split it into two payments: 50% up front to book your project, and 50% once the site is live. If you need an extended time period to pay we can discuss that in your discovery call.
What if I need more pages or features mid-project?
No problem. We’ll talk through any additions and update your quote if needed – but we always stick to clear, agreed-upon pricing.
Are there any ongoing costs?
Yes – all sites include our ongoing support plan. It covers hosting, backups, updates, and small edits to keep things running smoothly. This ensures your site stays secure, up-to-date, and fully supported.
After Launch
Will I be able to update the site myself?
Yes – your site is built with a visual editor, so making simple updates (like text or photos) is easy, and we’ll show you how. That said, all sites include our support plan, so you never have to worry about edits if you don’t want to. We’ve got it covered.
Do you offer ongoing support?
We do. For an affordable monthly fee, we handle hosting, backups, software updates, and minor edits – so your site stays fast, secure, and up to date.
Can I move the site to another host if I want to?
Yep – it’s your site. You’re not locked into anything. We’ll help you move it if you ever decide to host elsewhere.
Will you still be around after launch?
Definitely. We don’t disappear once the site is live – most clients stick with us long-term and opt for our support plan.
What happens if something breaks?
If something breaks, we fix it – simple as that. Your site is monitored and backed up daily, so if anything goes wrong, we’ll catch it early and take care of it before it becomes a problem.
Tech Stuff
Will my site work on phones and tablets?
Absolutely. Every site is fully responsive and looks great on any screen – phone, tablet, or desktop.
Do you handle hosting and domains?
Yes – if you go with our support plan, hosting is included and we take care of everything. If you already have a domain, we’ll connect it. If not, we’ll help you register one.
Can you set up email too?
We don’t host email directly, but we can help you get set up with something like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 – whatever fits your needs best.
Is SEO included?
We handle all the technical SEO stuff: clean site structure, proper tags, fast load speed, and mobile optimization. If you want deeper SEO strategy, with content creation and other various methods, we’re happy to point you to a specialist.
Will my site be fast?
Yes – we build lightweight, optimized sites that load quickly and run smoothly. It’s all part of the package.
